I'm at a loss at how to comment on this poem. I love the dark imagery but take issue with the acsual infidelity. On well...to each their own.

The great thing about poetry is the ability for it to be interpreted differently. You see infidelity, I was writing about someone new and some one from before contrasting them. Others could interpret polyamory. I think the interpretation says more about the reader than the poet. I've also noticed that with music, songs I've heard a million times take on a completely different or more visceral meaning depending on life circumstances.
