I was good.
I was content
Blissfully complacent in a sea of mediocrity.
Content with the mundane
Established in the nuances of ordinary

Till you stormed your way into my life.
An avalanche of spectacular. 
You gorgeous earthquake.

You ensnared my senses
Took my attention hostage
Held my mind captive

You ruined everything.
 
Because now it's just painfully obvious how every other girl isn't you.

I find myself ticking off all the different ways you put them to shame.

I only wish I remembered how this complacency thing worked...😞
