Haha....he was, let's say perplexed at my 'art'.
"Geez, Danny, why can't you write something a person can understand"
He was reluctantly appreciative of my musical things, but as he himself was a serious "karaoke" artist, so there was a little tension of competitiveness at my having gotten down the basics of a real instrument after I left home & coming back during vacation wit melodies & improvisations flowin like honey, from 3 instruments, no less. So, it was just something I did that we didn't talk about much, & that was cool.
