Shine On Me

Nothing was ever cookies & rainbows
I just floated as the rain flowed
Waiting for the sun to shine
Blinded by the lines..the dimes...and all the wasted time
Not seeing what was really In front of me
Open doors that always seemed sealed
I got comfortable floating with the rain ..listening to the thunder..and feeling the lighting strike my body
After every mistake & sin
But no regrets I saw the sun shine one time and now I swim through the rain ..make beats to the thunder and stand strong through the lighting... So that one day the sun will shine on me again
