Over the Course of a Year

I see a picture and like a flash,
the memories start come back.

Memories of friends,
good times,
and the people that were always there.

But thats gone now;
a lot has happened since then.

Goes to show how much really can happen over the course of a year.

In that picture we all look happy.
Like we were before everything changed.

But look at us now,
you'd never see all three of us taking a picture together.

Times truly do change
a year can change so much.
