I can see things

A very somber poem, but fitting given the subject matter and the point of view being that of a spirit trapped between life and death, and not knowing what to do about its’ fate. This is also a rather good analogy for souls who reincarnate down through the ages… the ones who retain their memory of all their previous incarnations would likely feel much this same way if they let it get to them. So there are many possible meanings a reader can identify in these verses, which is a credit to the genius of the poetess who penned it. As always, your poetry is deep, moving, and very powerful! I definitely like this work a lot. :)

You are definitely welcome! I do seem to feel a certain kinship with the feelings and emotions you express through your poetry. Perhaps that is why I am able to understand the meaning in some of them on a deeper level. I am glad you are posting here on Deep Underground… this site definitely needs more talented poetesses with a gift for penning dark but beautiful gothic poetry such as yours.
