Your light went out
but you still shine
brightly in my memory
You suffered with pain
staying strong in
every way
You lost loves
but never lost love
always keeping it in your bones
Your eye's are in daisies
while your voice is in
the warm wind
You became the earth
but met the sky all
at once
You must be raising hell
in heaven, save some
fun when we meet again

Tommie, I am so moved by this tender and yet powerful expression of love and devotion to your friend. I am elated that you keep her alive in your memory.

She had a hard life,never making excuses for
anything. She lived fast,lost people most
precious to her,and suffered more than
any human should have to. Thank you GW :)

This is a wonderful tribute Tommie. Refreshing how you hint at the fun side to Heaven! Nothing but clouds and pearly gates would probably be a bore.
