Relishes each sensation

Through every day of gestation
From the first ultrasound
Revealing that faint, rapid heartbeat
To the gift of life, clutching
Tiny hands and feet
Always giving, sharing her all
Protection, adoration, direction when needed
Firm foundation shown
Focus on others, never conceited
Capable of unconditional love
We envy and wish to emulate
There's more to her than we'll ever know
The woman we wish to celebrate
On this, her special Mother's Day

I would expect nothing less from you C. You are aware and in tune to a woman's needs which generally stems from a good relationship with one's mother.
However, there is a difference between a good and healthy relationship with one's mother and being a mama's boy!! (YOU KNOW!)
Thank you for the great tribute to mothers out there, including myself...a mother of one crazy little girl and longing for one more!
