Your hurt
your tears
my fault
my fears

I fell for you
not available to do

In comfort and admiration
Piercing, blue eyes
His kiss and whisper give
Affections their declaration
She views and hears
Understanding, this man
Knows her, shares determination

"is he real, genuine"

Honesty, trust
Valuable traits, admired
Exchange, feel the revelation

she spills to him her heart
she reveals her life's content
he doesn't laugh or run
in fact he shares his reflection
he lets her in slowly
not giving too much away
he wants her to yearn for him
in every kind of way
their souls intertwine
with each connection made
to feel this kind of satisfaction

He takes her hand and asks for a dance
Slowly swaying
he embraces her appetite for enchantment
he whispers words of avidity in her ear
he holds her like she is already his
she doesn't want to let go
He glides his strong hands down her waist
she slowly relaxes with his embrace
she grazes her hands on the back of his softly shaven head
he reciprocates with a gentle kiss on her forehead
she is teeming with passion as he pulls her in close

His touch is so cold
he takes what he wants
when he wants it
she cries when she's alone
only wanting to be desired again
to be touched with passion
to be the center of his attention
he is too busy to notice
her seeking elsewhere
he is too selfish to care
she is torn between what
is right and what is wrong
but how he treats her
is like she is already gone
if he pushes her away
why should she stay
