With A Cross Around Her Neck
Everyday begins and ends the same
Only those kids call her by name
She feels invisible
Like a ghost on a train
She can only see her reflection
When lighting pass through rain
In a field he now calls home
She stands all alone
With a cross around her neck so God don't forget his place beyond these stones
She lets a balloon touch the sky
But only the wind whispers goodbye
She sits in a car that just want start
That drives her broken heart
Her head against the wheel
She tries not to feel
all the miles that passes by
She knows it's insane
But its the darkness she blames
And thinks of walking towards a tunnel of light
Only to hear voices saying not tonight
In a field he now calls home
She stands all alone
With a cross around her neck so God don't forget his place beyond these stones
She lets a balloon touch the sky
But only the wind whispers goodbye
He was a man that gave her hand away on a white dress day
She thinks how he stood by her side
But never in her way
It's more than fate
So he guards the gate
from where the light shines through
In a field he now calls home
She stands all alone
With a cross around her neck so God don't forget his place beyond these stones
She lets a balloon touch the sky
But only the wind whispers goodbye
Only those kids call her by name
