Penny For Your Dreadful Thoughts
Taking to the winds like a valkyrie unchained
From tethers of faith, still her resolve remains
Iron strong, if not sometimes rusted and tested
When little white sins are whispered in vespers
Tragedies on tapestries
Scenes of carnage and slaughter
Misery and apathy
As black sails drift across troubled waters
In the wake of her wake I spake to deathly gods
Into ponds of spilt blood the rod lights divine plates
Scattered food, fevered moods ‘neath moons howling despair
No repair or hearts spared when wear settles in tombs
A penny for your dreadful thoughts
The tales of woe of tortured ghosts
Her cunt was wrapped in mesh, she was an idol of lust
Like Aphrodite rising from the dust
To dominate the imaginations of men
Their little wedding rings cast in the wind
Enemies in entities
Strangers in moonlit forests
Reality morphs energy
Into magic, so black and true, you can’t suppress
When she woke, thus she spoke of choking on the dirt
Graveyard flirts when blood squirts from burnt and dire folk
Wailing ghosts on each coast creep hosts condemn the dead
Who behead when death wed widespread doom of Faust
The tales of woe of tortured haunts
A penny for your dreadful thoughts
Whisper me, nightly, hold me tightly
To your cemetery parts
A cold kiss, tasting like the grave
Wrap your dead fingers around my heart
Her love in wrapped in death, she’s an idol of dust
Like Aphrodite laying for the lust
Of another passing, unsung demigod
Their little sacred vows drowned in blood
Fantasy and ecstasy
Scenes of carnage and slaughter
Agony in memory
The black sails drift across troubled waters
Her heart is wrapped in thorns, she’s an idol of trust
Like Anubis rising in the dust
To dominate the nightmares of kings and men
Their sad funeral rites cast in the wind
Whisper me, nightly, hold me tightly
To your cemetery parts
A cold kiss, tasting like the grave
Wrap your dead fingers around my heart
Paying such a heavy cost
A penny for your dreadful thoughts
