Introspetive Inspection
Taking a moment...
Introspectively,
Seeing the heart
of oneself... requires
A certain type of contemplation.
As I sit...with candles lit
facing my reflection...
Unsatisfied
with what I see
In my own soul...
Dark spots...
Filled with unresolved emotion
and, Unrequited love
speckling the canvas of my Heart...
I sigh... as I wonder what miracle
of sorts it will take...
To cleanse my essence
I don't want to be
a broken confused woman
who does ignorant things because
she doesn't want to face herself
IN fact...
I have decided that I am not that woman
No longer a woman child am I.
In order for me to take in all accounts
of my heart and its truth...
I must... recognize then remove the lies
Well...
Don't I have MY
work... cut out for me
