Why do you keep
that old Teddy bear
and who are you hiding from
Why do you cry
when you watch sad movies
don't you know where your heart
belongs?
Last night
when we danced in the rain
threw our shoes to the moon
and sucked at the stars through a straw
Last night
making time stand still
was the easiest thing in the world
For Fucks sake, God
stop murdering our planet.

Love the outburst at the end, it was completely unexpected making it all the more powerful. Fantastically written.

is beyond beautiful. Reminds me of a passge from The Great Gatsby. The imagery is stunning, simply stunning. Not fond of the final sentence. It doesn't quite jell with the previous two verses, at least in my opinion.
