Not Knowing What Awaits
In a pool of tears,
She waits for her lover to come.
One that she knows is already gone.
She waits and waits,
He still doesn't show...
People say he is in a better place now,
"How do I assure?"
Her mind wonders and hits negativity.
Serious case of depression awaits at the door of her mind.
It's just waiting for her to let it in.
Drowning in a sea of sorrow.
Out of her mind,
She takes a pen and a paper and begin to write.
"He is gone!
He'll never come back, I don't know what am I still doing here.
I'll stop being a burden once and for all."
Heading toward the medicine cabinet she changes her mind.
Runs to the closet and pulls out a gun.
Then takes in her last breath.
Not knowing what awaits.
