eyes
after your jacket had fallen
burned the ground
i shivered
your raven hair
dark eyes
why would you do it
why would you look into mine
after the bell tower had sung
i forgot for a while
but skies reminded me
of the fire
you have given me yours
i should have given you mine
after i had written songs
pulling lyrics out of you
i followed the night
as if it was made of your eyes
under every street light
every bulb made of desire
dancing in raining feather
bathing in bitter red wine
just wondering why would you stare into
the eyes of mine
burned the ground
i shivered
your raven hair
dark eyes
why would you do it
why would you look into mine
after the bell tower had sung
i forgot for a while
but skies reminded me
of the fire
you have given me yours
i should have given you mine
after i had written songs
pulling lyrics out of you
i followed the night
as if it was made of your eyes
under every street light
every bulb made of desire
dancing in raining feather
bathing in bitter red wine
just wondering why would you stare into
the eyes of mine
