Morsels delectable
Meaty and divine
Choices are limited
Why can't I find
Proper offerings?
Idols sculpted nightly
Reflecting sacrifice
Cast out discarded
In reverent wastes
Lesson lacerations
Are repercussions
For my utmost failure
My damnation
For my shortcomings
The hiss of a deity
The claws reprimand
Lowly servant
Your will, my command
Sacraments
Made in bonded time
When man needs a god
To feel complete
Offerings laid on plates
Tuna, beef, sacrifice
Poultry perfectly
Season to purrfection
Feline salivation
Leads to salvation
I offer something more
Some Temptations
Will that be enough?
The hiss of a deity
