To channel my emotional energy
my aim, to be true,
isn't.

But from the depths where I hide,
taking refuge,
solitude
my love hidden away from your sour look,
pointed tongue that cut my heart deep
like your words
sharp pieces falling at me feet
Penitrating no more
the hurt I'm shedding
like the snake you've become from the
depths where you have no invitation
I'll be practicing
