lullaby
oh sweet death,
sing me a lullaby.
cradle me in your
arms,
when i close my
eyes,
for the last time.
raise a toast,
with my blood
filled chalice.
to the cup of
iniquity,
that leads my
guardians palace.
oh sweet death,
take my hand.
and lead me down,
this crooked path.
i'll dance in the
fire,
while a thousand
angels cry.
the flames will
rise higher,
as the tears
evaporate from
their eyes.
with my last breath,
the reaper smiles...
oh sweet death,
sing me a lullaby.
sing me a lullaby.
cradle me in your
arms,
when i close my
eyes,
for the last time.
raise a toast,
with my blood
filled chalice.
to the cup of
iniquity,
that leads my
guardians palace.
oh sweet death,
take my hand.
and lead me down,
this crooked path.
i'll dance in the
fire,
while a thousand
angels cry.
the flames will
rise higher,
as the tears
evaporate from
their eyes.
with my last breath,
the reaper smiles...
oh sweet death,
sing me a lullaby.
