Darkness Falls Near
I never really heard the screams
of agony after that day,
I spent the rest of existence
playing in sunshine — and thinking,
I never wanted to see or feel it again,
And there is the empty space
where the colorless light gathers;
that day exists, it never leaves
here, and it’s so lonely,
I walk in deadness, hanging
in geometrics of the living room
forever, made to look like an eyelet
curtain of crystal blue sea shells
sheer to the bountifulness of the water below,
There we were again, gathering
the rats in the basement
so the screams of torment wouldn't
scare them…and the blood glistens.

we all compartmentalise, I
guess, my mind is full of
cupboards I prefer not to
open but which I cannot
ignore...

If I wasn’t still so angry and hurt at times, I would be a better person and get along with everyone better, but probably no better at writing; or a writer at all in fact. I hate dipping in that crap. I digress; none worse for the wear is how I hear tell it.
re: Re: Darkness Falls Near
It makes it feel better to have someone understand it though, when sometimes I don't understand myself. thank you.

Hi Comrade. Have you heard the phrase, Shot at and missed and shit at and hit; that’s life. Yes, the smell is vertiginous. It's good to hear from you. :)

Shadows linger here, Oh, noble writer of deadly fears held up by society's need for marionettes in cheerful clothing, torn to pieces by infinite metamorphosis, and warnings; lions, tigers, and bears tread near. :)

There's no closure to the enclosure, only outlets. Thank you so much, you're so witty and fun. :)

It is my pleasure to have you comment. The melancholia creates wonderful drama in our minds it seems, and when I see someone I admire liking it, it lets me know that I'm heading in the right direction with the creativity, even if it's in the dark, it's naturally delicious. :)

There are places in the darkest corners of the mind, that even the best of the writers can't go, won't go.
I know at least two personal subjects, i can never write about, it's much too difficult.
And this is beautiful Pish, dark and haunting.

When there's no closure, to recreate it and to escape into a new world is the best we can do sometimes. And so perhaps from the same wound can come new life. Thank you so much, Vee for your comment. :) It sent me off on a writing spree, and so I'll share with you some of my notes on the subject through a private message.

Thank you Hashman for your comment. There is bleakness at times, but there is also brightness for appreciation in that we're here. New flowers will always bloom. :)

Those white ones that I don't know the name of, those and larkspur for color. I love that.. I think my favorite vase of flowers will forever be a vase of lilacs from the yard; sweet, and a bit wild & rooty. Oh, and I love Iris. All of them :)
