Finally

I'm beginning
to love this so much more than before.

Every glance,
every chance... to see-
I'm beginning to believe,
beginning to really receive
everything.

And it turns out- it was always meant to be mine.

Because everyday
in all the little ways, I learn to love it so much more.

I won't shut anymore doors,
I won't dim these new reflections,
And everyday that used to be filled with screaming,
everyday, I will finally let myself hear
No longer subject to my old desperate fear.

And I'm living it up now, never coming back down.

And because
of this the fear falls down, in its own darkness- drowns.

Loving this more and more,
Treasuring it forever and then some more,
and its because I can see so clearly now,
because I believe in it now and
my sanity thanks me as my hope flies for me.

No one will ever bring me down again below ground.

So now love
has given my feet wings, and my heart has the ability to soar.

And it flies ever higher,
above all the nasty things that used to beat me down,
and love puts color in my cheeks,
love clothes me to show me off, revealing beauty.
Its all the product of the fact that I know me.

I love, I believe, I see me. Finally.
