With all these
x box fours and ps ones
connecting 3-D images
like binary code lines
paving the way to digitized
brain waves
floating about the cloud
What ever happened to appreciating
simple things
like a hand crafted toy
or that antique oak furniture set
How is it
that in this age of abbreviated
over simplified
political correctness
that life has become
far too over complicated
distracted by what's in fashion
with no time for the blues

Some great metaphor and a simple structure that works well with the meter of the piece.
Best of all is the way it speaks volumes of truth in a few stanzas.
