“Seventeen”

I see her there.
Young seventeen.
Her hair is bright red,
Flaming like the sun.
When she smiles she
Captures the world.
Her body is slender
Like an hour glass;
Her curves are most
Pleasing to mine eye.
I cannot have her,
Yet I shall love the
Very ground upon
Which she happens
To tread her feet.
I will kneel before
Her when she speaks
From betwixt her lips,
So full and red,
Her words of wisdom.
When she looks at me
With that gleam in
Her green eyes,
As Dante was with his
Beatrice, I shall shy
Away and write poems
Until I meet her again.
My every thought shall
Her majesty possess
And her nubile young
Body caress, from
Her head to her foot,
The softness of her skin,
The delicateness of its
Smooth texture.
I shall love her
With all my heart and
Mind in all the
Manner of courtly love,
Obeying her edicts
And praising her
Deeds to the great
Sol Invictus in
The sky above…
This living embodiment
Of Venus Aphrodite.
