I Hurt for You
When I got on my knees to talk to the Creator the pain increased
Why Lord? Why? When can I get relief? When I am deceased?
The overwhelming pain in my body is intense for sure
But your tender and sweet loving is the only cure
Physically I am dying, but what is ever worst...
Is the pain in my soul, that feels like an ancient curse
Make love to my soul so I can sleep tonight
Speak to my broken heart so everything can be alright
My soul needs you baby, make love to my mind
I know you are the one baby, the best I will ever find

Favourite line - I can relate to it, having prayed when I was sick:
Make love to my soul so I can sleep tonight.
Last line, to a Christian, could be referring to Jesus (the babe of Bethlehem) - "you are the one baby, the best I will ever find".
