Last May
Last May,
HolDs a memory that I keep close,
A memory,
That for oNce isn’t full of negative feelings,
Back to when I thought everything had a chance of healing,
Just a simple day out,
One of the happiest days that year,
It was a few weeks before my birthday.
Walking through the park,
Warmth,
A new bracelet that owned a bell,
A bell that was yellow,
He remembered my favourite colour,
Yellow,
The colour that is linked to happiness,
The feeling I felt that day,
My happiest memory from last May.
It’s all over now,
I ruined it all,
I was scared,
Scared of being hurt,
Now we no longer speak,
He probably doesn’t think of me at all,
I still think of him,
From time to time,
But the happiest memory I have,
Is the one from last May.
HolDs a memory that I keep close,
A memory,
That for oNce isn’t full of negative feelings,
Back to when I thought everything had a chance of healing,
