Closing Remarks, Jones' Fifth Rant

Pestilence and maggotry,
festerance and fallacy,
take me 'way and let me be!

Synthesis of red-hot flails,
penitence of buxom nails,
scanty-clad in pustuled scales,
I want nothing of these tales!

Tenor sax runs high above,
let it fly like a white dove,
simple yes? What I speak of
you'd never admit that you love!

Pestilence and maggotry,
festerance and fallacy,
take me 'way and let me be!

Seven dwarves could never see
all the things you mean to me,
baiting serendipity
whenever I visit thee!

Salmonella taints the cake,
watch me struggle as I make
antivenom (and a steak)
from your dreaded rattlesnake!

Pestilence and maggotry,
festerance and fallacy,
take me 'way and let me be!

Cornered in the bathroom stall,
wondering if I'm at all
able to resist the fall
foretold in graffiti scrawl?

Sense and sensibilities
wander out complete with fleas,
shuddering at their disease
while I scan the Seven Seas.

Pestilence and maggotry,
festerance and fallacy,
take me 'way and let me be!
