Unfolding petals
The sun reveals
the jewel of the flower
A heart of emptiness
The sun glints
Upon prayer wheels
Lightening shade
Engraved jade
Sweetness like grapes
Our world is nothing
But all our desires
The sun reveals
the jewel of the flower
A heart of emptiness
The sun glints
Upon prayer wheels
Lightening shade
Engraved jade
Sweetness like grapes
Our world is nothing
But all our desires

Upon prayer wheels ... This is a great bridge between your first and last stanza.
The whole piece speaks of human frailty

Thanks Lobo - your comment made me think of Alexander Pope's line - who breaks a butterfly upon a wheel

Isn't desire part of human weakness and strength at the same time?
Lovely mirrored reflection of the stanzas.
