Justice Ignored

What are we to a planet
that has no shame?
A place where one word in a verse is believed
to make the world change
regardless of who said it and why
while we the so called citizens are sitting losing patience
with our minds imprisoned
by the government
for the same reason why aliens wont pay us a visit.
We want answers,
explanations on why our forefathers are held in detention
for claiming their pension,
why our leaders are kept in custody
for fighting for development of the country.
Why do we have to be held back behind the bad
and be told the good is bad
when you fight for what you never had.
Are we good or are we bad?
Are we African or are we Black?
Because African is a race and Black is racism.
Especially when you know your rights but cant be right
because you not white.

What are we to a land where stones hate rocks?
where snakes eat snakes,
what's the purpose of living on a planet that has no movement.
Why do they eat from your plates
and spend what you make?
They say they will make the world a better place
but they ignore justice and serve platters
in a form of crap,
they boost their wealth
through the depth of your pockets,
they prepare their meals
through the weight of your wallet.
So what exactly are we to this hell hole?
Are we souls that flow in every direction that the wind blows
or are we bones filled with blood hoping to gain flesh again?

We have questions, explain to us.
Who are we not be answered?
