Nomad's Prayer
Bless the boy
who counts the stars,
chases cars,
breaks and raises bars.
Tell him it's okay
to just let go.
His gypsy soul
longs to claim the road.
His hands weigh heavy
so help him to carry
the pocket full of safely kept dreams
till he's ready.
There's much more to be told.
His fate has yet to unfold.
All of life's wonders
that only wanderers behold.
Guild him along his journey.
who counts the stars,
chases cars,
breaks and raises bars.
Tell him it's okay
to just let go.
His gypsy soul
longs to claim the road.
His hands weigh heavy
so help him to carry
the pocket full of safely kept dreams
till he's ready.
There's much more to be told.
His fate has yet to unfold.
All of life's wonders
that only wanderers behold.
Guild him along his journey.
