Spirit Guide **
Faithful, continuously there at your side
relentless, guards you with a fierce pride
Reliable, will never knowingly misguide
dependable, loyalty will never be denied
Compassionate, suffered every tear you cried
eternal, won't forsake you once you have died
Be thankful to your own spirit guide
a blessing that your soul was supplied
I cherish mine with my heart open wide
and feel his ubiquity deep down inside

My spirit guide might well be a crow, although that bird is often a symbol of death. I think he got a bum rap. Your poem is gracefully written with a fine structure and rhyme scheme. Great job, Deborah.

You have a great deal of personal integrity. You work hard at being mindful of your opinions and actions and are willing to walk your talk, speak your truth and embrace your life’s mission.
