sadly he walks through the night...
and having missed the last
train he rather hoped that, should it
happen again, he wouldn't get
quite so emotional about it...

Re: sadly he walks through the night...
You've just hit my theme on love. Not that I miss it really; not that kind anyway – the kind that hits you head-on and doesn't even stop to notice the damage. And yet all is not forsaken. Come to find out it wasn't love at all. It was only someone's rendition of painted scars and my own ignorant upbringing of who to trust. Trains I love & trust. Through the Doppler Effect, at least you can hear them coming. And when you get the frequency down pat; much like picking up on subconscious intentions, you can start running. I don't know to or from until a split-second passes. Trains are great. Sorry for the length. Thanks for the inspiration though. At least walks through the night gives you plenty of time to think...

I'm horribly prone to using
the train as a metaphor -
the missed love just seems
to have connotations worth the
continuing journey...
