My New Hope

 

Hope is something I know quite well.
However different in years past.
Used to hope to go to the Olympics.
However now I just hope for less pain.
I hope for a cure to end suffering for not just me but others with this disease.
I dread none of you go through RSD.
Pain so bad most commit suicide.
Others experiment and wait for a cure.
Me I try to keep my mind busy.
I hope for the good day fill of less pain.
Hope for happy moments.
I hope one day to walk down the aisle.
One day I hope to get back in the saddle.
But my biggest hope of all is for a cure.
