Emotion rules us
when attraction and lust collide
sexual hunger drives our thirst
has us craving a sensual kiss,
transcending erotic desperation
into a raw primal need
necessitating our neediness
for achieving sensuous bliss;
Our bodies collide
to achieve carnal gratification
we're pummeling at one another
as our primal desires entwine,
when rapture builds deep inside
then bursts with brilliant color
there is no other feeling known
quite is as sinful, or as divine...

It could be that emotion overwhelms us when attraction and lust are denied, when they're repressed. When the collision occurs in your second stanza it's between desire and rapture, which might have a similar effect: a climax that "bursts with brilliant color." Fine work, Deborah. I'm gratified with "Collide..."

Opening a fool's rush
When living within actions inside
Re-set subtext. Passion can't hide.

Set the spell I'm under, alive when it bursts
Chained by this and slaving to extend the gist
transcending erotic desperation
into a raw primal need
Unending hypnotic vacation
Cosmic maw. Time to feed
necessitating our neediness

Escalating life, not seediness.
Believing in what I see in the mist
