It’s so easy to fall in love

It’s so easy to fall in love
Because we need to know someone cares
And will satisfy our needs.
But, we never know the depth of that love
Until the relationship is tested.

Love is something everyone needs
But few know how to give it.
How are we able to tell if someone can love?

The truth is we really can’t,
But we can observe them in
How they treat others.
Notice their anger
And can they easily forgive.

Do they talk to lift you up
Or put you down?

Are you a priority with them?
Or do they take you for granted?

What about your feelings?

Do you feel loved?
Or do you feel that you put more
Into the relationship than they do?

When you love…
Love them wholeheartedly,
But always remember
Someone can disappoint you.
When they do,
Forgive them
And Love them anyway.
