Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time it seems
and it sounds the same in endless seas
where everything’s exact in quandary,
where I came to breathe,
however much the darting harmony.
Did you see the casts in silhouette
of beasts and sage and amulet,
pondering Autumn as taunts forget
the tinged and grazing tapestry?
Can you hear the cave as phantoms scream
inside the sounds that echos bleed,
so loud and taxing, as each day goes by,
knowing each moment, and yet never know why
the amber cast the dream...
and it sounds the same in endless seas
where everything’s exact in quandary,
where I came to breathe,
however much the darting harmony.
Did you see the casts in silhouette
of beasts and sage and amulet,
pondering Autumn as taunts forget
the tinged and grazing tapestry?
Can you hear the cave as phantoms scream
inside the sounds that echos bleed,
so loud and taxing, as each day goes by,
knowing each moment, and yet never know why
the amber cast the dream...
