Sleepwalking (Till Farewell) To Deja

7">Sleepwalk, gently passing
obstructions of sanity
looking for the room
of separate faces where
no splendor
arises; an excavation
of reality leaving
potholes in my youth,
a burning murderer
of the sadist�s romance
learning what pain
in love really is.
Sleepwalk, through
an underworld
where my strangers
crawl instead
until I learn
to miss them
when they�re all gone.
Oh, my closest
lover in the darkness
of a tear
smeared with eyeliner
hopelessness
in my final morning
laced with a touch
and branded by
a goodbye I hate.
Sleepwalk, calling out
to the sacred children
letting them know
that I�ll need carried
to my coffin
dressed in crimson
to sleepwalk
with a smile today
without a heartbeat
tomorrow.
Give me the sun
wrapped in a daydream
one last time;
give me your kiss
clad in idiocy
foolish laughter,
iron clocks ticking
away my ambition.
Tonight I�ve washed
away all your memory,
your face I have
been blessed to forget,
for every pleading wish
I�ve asked of you
by now has died,
and every damn thing
I once requested you
not to do you have done,
so darling, you aren�t no seer
and darling you aren�t mine-
for you I�ve made
the mornings shine
the starlets cry
till they were blind,
the nighttime bright
my scarlet bite
had kissed
your bleeding paradigm.
Leaving me now to
sleepwalk, dressing myself
in vermilion scars
to swing in the stars
I�ll smile to not have
you on my mind,
and with no other
I�ll need no lover
to have within my heart.
