Poltergeist

What I wouldn't give
to have you
    come back to me
If you'd
Fight your way through
 & finally break free
If only; I was as important
as the games you play
I'd find you right here
to wipe my tears away

Turning & walking
I've changed my routine
No more revolving around you
& creating a scene
I move through this journey
 In pursuit of my dreams
Unabated by hate
& the "Drama" you bring

  If you knew what I needed
 Would it make a difference at all?
       If I could explain how it feels
When I loose to alcohol

You believe I'm not hurting
If only you knew;
The depths of my pain
  as I dwell over you
Our chain has been broken
I bare the weight of my half
Roaming through the hall's
an apparition on this path

To many eyes
          I move unseen
as the day gives in to night
  A vapor in the breeze
to release these screams inside
Still, a ghost outside my shell
haunted by your face
Moaning in disbelief;
   All alone in this place...
