Rain
Rain.
Rain makes me depressed.
Rain makes me think.
Rain makes me want to sleep.
Rain is a sign of pain to me.
Rain makes me think I will never ever get better.
Rain sometimes scares me.
Why might you ask?
Because rain is normally a sign
Of peace and relaxation.
But me and rain haven't been friends
Since that one day where
They saw me and hurt me.
Please rain go away.
I do not like the rain.

A trigger can often bring back a sad, scary or even terrifying memory. Most people love rain for the reasons you've mentioned but you've turned from the common to something else unexpected. Nicely done.

I use to hate the rain and I still do when there is a thunderstorm so I know how you feel.
