Staying Me

I'm not the best and I don't expect to be.
I do expect to show how I feel though.
I do expect to open eyes and believe.
I believe in the words that I say.

I believe them because the world works this way.
You don't get a happy ending, you get happy moments.
Most poeple let them go by and don't even know they lost them.
I'd rather admire what I have and not lose friends that are closest.

I'll let my mind rest for now, just know that I don't care if I'm not accepted.
I won't put my emotions on the back burner and let them be neglected.
I'll still write the way I want to.
That's really the best I can do.
