Gloomy Weather
going through emotions
love is a tricky thing
you think you know a person
till they drag you through the mud
guess we all have many faces
I can admit my faults
don’t feel a need to lie
don’t feel the want to hate
we sometimes fall for the wrong people
it's just part of the game
time stands still as I hurt
I’m only human
was just searching for companionship
to be back stabbed is a gloomy thing
especially when you give so much
how do I trust lies?
how long can I ignore them?
how much is too much?
it sucks trying to be there for a person
when someone else is luring them away
hope that people would be better than that
some are not
I don’t even fault them
I don’t even want to be around this
rather talk out my problems
just know I won’t fall
I’m always the phoenix
can’t be bullied or hurt
can’t be subjected to lies
can’t be killed with hate
I have an all seeing eye
I see through bullshit
but I love to love
and that’s why I try
I stand here today
with my heart on my sleeve
for all to see
I’ll fight off the storm
or any gloomy weather
I’ll fight through the pain
love with conquer all
even if I fall, today
