I hate songs that remind me of a worse time.
A worse time when I fed in to your every line.
I wish they'd just go away.

The songs I gave you and songs you gave me.
They are nothing but how we used to be.
They're now the past and I won't look back.

The lyrics touched my heart at one point.
They made me feel as if we were joined.
Obviously I meant nothing and that's fine.
