Life Completely Sober

The virgin skin singes from the luminous sun.
Frail and fragile, and exposed.
This new skin pleads for its former cover.
A thin layer of now shedded skin.
The new skin is bare and brittle.
Unadapted to this unforgiving world.
The skin is still vernal and crude.
Unveiled now for the vicious predator...

Life.

These reincarnated eyes are overly consumed.
This new world is overwhelming.
The eyes struggle to process all that's around.
Blocked by clouded darkness for far too long.
A radiant light pierces the eyes from the sky.
Blinding any completed vision.
The blindfolds have been removed at last.
Uncovering the eyes to engulf the world...

Completely.

A new life has now begun it's cycle.
Ready to explore the world that surrounds.
A new life now looks for purpose.
Exploring all the dangers of society.
A new life begins constructing it's place.
Determined to belong among the living.
A new life is now standing in the light.
This new life of me learning...

Sober.
