"Lulled away into the, "Dark Night," of Love; unbeknownst."

Have You ever Heard the Quietness so Deafening
You try not to, but, You can't help but to Hear it Loudly
And, You try to Drown it out and Pretend,  You're not
Listening;  but, You find this Impossible and Realize
that Volumes, it is Speaking

Have You ever Drifted away into the Vacuous Void
that was Created when Your, "Eyes were Wide Shut,"
that You never even noticed until one day You Felt
the Cold Draft of this Chasm blow into Places that
used to be Comfortable and Warm: places one time
filled with Happiness and Sun

The familiar refrain by, "Dylan Thomas," Implores Us
to, "Do not Go Gently into that Good Night,"

But, all to Often We Discover in a time nearly to far
gone, that We have Wandered into this Catacomb
of Isolation,  unbeknownst to us; either because We
were just Blind or because the causes that brought
us here, had made Us Numb and Our Perception...
