Life is a Journey
You’re just passing through
Have you ever considered your time on this Earth, and life is just years that always you’ll search
For the answer’s each one of us tries hard to find, did you take just a second to open your mind?
To find those that need you and do them some good
“You’re just passing through” my father would say, just do your best to embrace every day.
The older you get the faster time flies, so make up your mind and don’t wear a guise
Be true to your-self and those all around, remember at times you must stand your ground
Others won’t see it, they come and they go, don’t pass through life not enjoying the show.
Look in the eyes of those that you love, and make it a point to lift them above
This thing we call life which is just such a grind, dig down real deep and realize you’ll find
The things that distract you from now and today, really won’t matter if you find your true way
Life is a journey this is quite clear, in the blink of an eye it might disappear
Your children will grow, have babies their own, and then you’ll have others to love and to hold.
Your just passing through don’t you ever forget, Life is a Journey on this you can bet.
Embrace each day as if it’s your last and always remember the days that have past.
Keep your heart open for that will come, embrace your life’s journey, in all of its sum
This life is a journey “you’re just passing through”, at the end of this journey it’s all up to you
To make life worth living it’s give and it’s take
To make life worth living some things you forsake
All that is worthless, petty and small
When you give all that up life truly gives all
Remember today you are just passing through
And always remember it’s all up to you
