Roch wins dae shoogle the bonnie flouers o May
an simmers coar hus aw tae suin endit.
Whiles tae het the een o heiven shines,
An af'en is the gowden blee dit;
An Ilka fare fae fare hinderly dwyne's
Bi sonsie or mischanter ongauns , or natur's chyngan wey , untrigit ;
Dinnae fash! yer ayebydan simmer will nae wallae
Naither tyne awnan o thit fare you awe
Naither will daith voust ye stravaig in his scarrae,
Whan in ayebydan lines tae Tyme ye graw;
Sae lang iz men kin souk braith,
or een wi sicht kin view,
Sae lang iz lives this,
an this gies life tae you!
