The Taking of Me

I followed you
quietly
You led me
naked
by the hand
under the shower
Into your arms.
holding me
holding you

kisses
falling
cascading
warm
inviting
like the water

Lips sliding against yours
like the pressing of our bodies
giving up my neck for your kisses
sweet and tender

The soap against our skin
remembering the delicacy
the artistry of movements
the love in our eyes

You dried me in soft towels
softer kisses
replaying the scene
Repaying the compliment

You carried me
the bedroom
I kissed you
You set me down
candles
dancing shadows
we joined them
kissing
touching
caressing
holding on for more
as you took me on adventures promised.
