Icy Cold

I wish I could be set free
Like the first snowflake to fall
Finally getting the chance to float
In the moment of watching the snow fall
I am within my own world that feels free

But then I snap back into reality
And I cry, because that day won't show
This forever aching pain is always there
It wears me down, it drains me completely
Yet I still have to remain strong

Even though I no longer wish to
The fake smile is starting to slip
Like falling over the cold Ice beneath me
Though I know my head is like a powerful blizzard

My heart slowly turning Icy cold
Struggling to breath now
I will forever walk along the ice
Awaiting the day
I can finally let go and fall through it
