Forgotten courage

My heart is hiding in the dark, for the fear the light will go away... Letting light in before, hurt more then I could bare again. In the shadow a weight that holds me down...... I wait... For everything to turn around... I see myself with light on my face, and tears running down.... I want to be not afraid..
