T H U D
"walk away"
So easy to say
The eyes said "vacant"
The mind was occupied
The chance to tell the truth
It went ahead and lied
Too familiar
Dream paralysis
Laying beside you feeling the dark
It seeped through your pores
And into my heart
Intuition, definition of suspicion?
Trust your gut
Trust your heart
Instinctively fearless
Fearfully true
Torn between
love and disgust
Humility and anger
Understanding and hurt
