Blues & Greens (Coffee Shop)

Maybe I could use some growing up
but I think that I'm doing just fine.
I may not like all the days I have
but I always like that I'm alive.

I don't need the weight you bring
whenever you reach out to me.
You had your cake & ate me too
but nothing in life is free.

Color yourself in colors you choose
write your books & read your news
& talk about at the coffee shop
how I'm doing worse without you
you can say what you want about me
we both know it's not true.

At first I liked your darkness
it spoke to the one in me
but at a certain point I think
it's too much of a good thing.

You threw yourself off of a cliff
wanted me to go down with you
that day I learned the answer
to if I jump will you jump too?

Color yourself in colors you choose
write your books & read your news
& talk about at the coffee shop
how I'm doing worse without you
you can say what you want about me
we both know it's not true.

Blues & greens
you were always
blues and greens
to me
blues & greens
you were always
blues & greens

Color yourself in colors you choose
write your books & read your news
&  talk about at the coffee shop
how I'm doing worse without you
you can say what you want about me
we both know it's not true.

Blues & greens
you were always
blues & greens
to me.
