Streamwater falling
Fall me down
Dripping off rain and hair
Fingertips melting under liquid light
Many a hand does the red back take
Only a sound, a choir to make
Laking and sinking and single and singing
Break but don't fall don't call out to me
Voice in the lighted night
Laughing and whistling and Goddess, that laughter!
Dogs laugh alone
In the night cold and gone
Forget punctuation
The moment is gone
As fast as you can
Before the door closes
And you've lost the last fracture, dropped your last penny
Into the mouth of the gods
Oh sweetheart, my hand in your teeth
I'll rip you apart!
With sweetest lullabies
And you'll bleed into ecstasy
Without a tear to cry
To fall from your broken eye
I'll cut through the fluid
Liken it not to the fall of the ages
Open my hand
The secrets are written in the skin of my palm
I've the knife in my shoe
For when I have to split
But until that moment comes
Eye on the coast
Don't wait for me, I am always late
Fall me down
Dripping off rain and hair
Fingertips melting under liquid light
Many a hand does the red back take
Only a sound, a choir to make
Laking and sinking and single and singing
Break but don't fall don't call out to me
Voice in the lighted night
Laughing and whistling and Goddess, that laughter!
Dogs laugh alone
In the night cold and gone
Forget punctuation
The moment is gone
As fast as you can
Before the door closes
And you've lost the last fracture, dropped your last penny
Into the mouth of the gods
Oh sweetheart, my hand in your teeth
I'll rip you apart!
With sweetest lullabies
And you'll bleed into ecstasy
Without a tear to cry
To fall from your broken eye
I'll cut through the fluid
Liken it not to the fall of the ages
Open my hand
